Ukrainian F-16 pilot was killed intercepting Russian aerial attacks on Ukraine overnight, Kyiv’s air force said, in what a Ukrainian official described as Moscow’s largest-scale air attacks on the country since the start of the war.
Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustimenko intercepted seven air targets from his F-16 before his aircraft was damaged and started to lose altitude, Ukraine’s air force said in a statement on Sunday.
