Millions of Americans will soon be cut off from critical federal student loan forgiveness and repayment programs, following passage of President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” earlier in July. Under the bill, Parent PLUS borrowers will be blocked from several debt relief options, unless they take specific steps by certain deadlines to preserve access.
